Linden Hall Studio is a superb open space over two floors for artists to exhibit their work. London Belongs to Me recently credited the gallery’s flagship creative space for revitalising Deal’s art scene:
The revolving schedule of contemporary artists is as compelling as the historic 18th century interior itself, with its mezzanine gallery and views over the leafy churchyard.”
The gallery is located in the heart of Deal, less than 500 yards from both its famous conservation area and renowned high street: 2014 winner of Telegraph’s High Street of the Year.
Linden Hall Studio is open: Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 4pm or by appointment.
The large gallery space is set out over two floors with glazed entrance double doors, and windows for display onto St Georges Road. Full lighting and picture hanging systems have been installed together with display plinths and light boxes. Disabled access and facilities are available.
Linden Hall Studio is privately owned by Heather and John Corley with the exhibition and events programme directed by their son, Myles. The gallery shows the best of contemporary art including painting, sculpture, ceramics and glass. The gallery opened in November 2014 after a four-year restoration of the building, previously a Christian chapel which dates back to 1775.
Myles Corley is happy to discuss the art on display & deal with enquiries including hire of the gallery for events. Please contact him for more information.
