The Arts Society Sandwich's Monthly Lecture

“The Art of the Automobile” by Roger Mendham

The earliest cars were purely functional and lacked even the most basic of passenger comforts, such as doors and windscreens. This lecture covers some of the most beautiful cars ever built, from the ‘horseless carriages’ to the supercars of the 21st century.

The lecture begins at 7pm with refreshments served from 6:30pm.

About Sandwich Arts Society:

We are an expanding society keen to encourage new members. The cost of membership is £50 for the year or £20 for under-25s and includes eleven lectures and our Summer Supper event. Lectures are held on the first Monday of every calendar month in Sandwich Guildhall.
