The Arts Society Sandwich's Monthly Lecture

“The three Magi” by Leslie Primo

This lecture will seek to will unravel the myth and the iconography behind the proliferation of the story of the adoration of the magi, from its Eastern and pagan roots to its current Christian interpretation and will examine the actual origins of the story and how much of a bearing does that story, as we understand it, have on the actual story written in the Bible.

The lecture begins at 7pm with refreshments served from 6:30pm.

About Sandwich Arts Society:

We are an expanding society keen to encourage new members. The cost of membership is £50 for the year or £20 for under-25s and includes eleven lectures and our Summer Supper event. Lectures are held on the first Monday of every calendar month in Sandwich Guildhall.
