For family adventures in beautiful outdoor surroundings this Easter, you'll love Walmer Castle and Gardens, Betteshanger Park near Deal and Dover Castle.

Walmer Castle is offering mini explorers an Easter Adventure Quest, to crack clues and search for dragon eggs on quest boards whilst exploring an outdoor trail through the castle grounds. Successful dragon hunters will be rewarded with a chocolate treat and a certificate! Available from 29th March, booking must be made in advance.

At Betteshanger Park, from Good Friday through to Easter Monday (2nd-5th April) families can explore an Easter Trail with a special guest… With lots of activities and fun along the way, you might even meet Peter Rabbit himself! The adventure includes free chocolate and Easter Eggs for all children. The route is buggy friendly but will have undulating terrain along certain paths. Booking is advised.

While at Dover Castle, from 29th March, little adventurers can set out on an Easter Adventure Quest whilst exploring an outdoor trail through the castle grounds. Intrepid explorers who track down the hatched dragon will be rewarded with a chocolate treat and a certificate. Please book in advance.

If you’re looking to enjoy an Easter feast at home with the family in White Cliffs Country and you’d like to treat yourself, the Holiday Inn Dover will prepare your feast for you! A three-course Easter Weekend Lunch is available for takeaway or delivery on Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday (3rd or 4th April).

Pretty spring flowers are continuing to bloom across White Cliffs Country, so why not take in the pleasure of exploring our picturesque parkland and formal gardens? Try the exquisite Goodnestone Park Gardens near Sandwich, famous as a favourite and frequent place to visit for Jane Austen. Explore the beautiful and organically-managed Pines Garden at St Margaret’s, perched behind the White Cliffs of Dover. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of Kearsney Parks and watch the swans, cygnets, ducks and ducklings swimming on the lake. Spot wildflowers, including the rare Early Spider Orchid, as you wander along the paths amongst the chalk grassland habitat at Samphire Hoe. Look up to the skies to see the kestrels circling, look out to sea at the distant views of France - this unique country park is a fabulous place to be in Spring, or at any time of the year.
