Based in the heart of Sandwich, this museum tells the story of the Town and surrounding areas from Mesolithic times to the modern day. We not only house treasures such as the Magna Carta, Charter of the Forest, 1st Century Roman Bowl and important Cinque Port history we also have an untouched Tudor Court Room which is not to be missed. 

Housed in the 15th Century Guildhall building this atmospheric museum is family friendly and is part of the county-wide Wheels of Time scheme. The museum also offers tours of the museum, Courtroom and Guildhall building with the opportunity to get up close to museum artefacts if pre-booked.
