The Dover Stop has 3 rooms which have been furnished for comfort so that, ideally, you won't want to leave.

The first of the rooms is called the Lesley and Sidney Arbuckle who lived in the house from 1961 - 1986. The room is situated on the first floor, in what would have been the grand drawing room of the house. It has its own balcony, king-size bed, decorative fireplace, a large antique wardrobe, Bluetooth speaker, tea and coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and hairdryer. The en-suite bathroom with has a freestanding bath with overhead and handheld shower and generous basin. Due to the ceiling angle in the bathroom, the recommended height for the shower is up to 6'2"/187cm.

The second of the 3 rooms is called the Ada Malins who lived in the house from 1946 - 1961. The room is situated at the top of the house, on the second floor. It has a vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams and a large window overlooking the magnificent Dover Castle (which you can also see from your king-size bed), a large antique wardrobe, Bluetooth speaker, tea and coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and hairdryer.

The third room is called the Henry Merricks who lived in the house from 1946 - 1961. The room is situated at the top of the house, on the second floor. It has a ‘in the clouds’ feel with a large window overlooking the magnificent tree lined hills of the Dover valley, a ‘walk-in’ wardrobe, Bluetooth speaker, tea and coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and hairdryer.

The rooms have been sympathetically restored, decorated and comfortably furnished to offer you an enjoyable stay and a place to relax.

On the top floor landing, they have put their favourite reads in the bookcase so even if you don't leave your room there's still plenty to enjoy.
